One of our sessions today was with this beautiful baby boy. He was such a happy little man that we got tons of great shots in just a few minutes! Mom (Melissa) and Dad (Brandon): we will miss you when you move! Thank you for allowing us this glimpse of your precious boy!

We have to give credit to Mom (Susan) and Dad (Brandon) for the handsome faces on these boys! It seems like only yesterday Susan and I were going through school together... and now she has little Jackson and Dake, who are already so grown up! Thank you for sharing their smiles with us!

Sneak peek....Little Nicholas!!

Our last session of the day was with the May family. It was so much fun getting to know all five boys and the parents as well. They are celebrating the newest addition to their family, Mr. Nicholas. Now this is little one that has stolen my heart! He is so sweet, much like his older brothers! Jeff and Andrea must be very proud. All five boys (Jeffrey, Raybon, Austin, Joey, and Nicholas) are so beautiful and not to mention, well-behaved!! This session seemed so short because they were such great models. Hey! When you got it, you got it! Thank you, Andrea and Jeff for brightening our day and sharing your family with us for a little while. My job is so wonderful!

Congratulations Scott & Ann!

This weekend we had the privilege of photographing Ann & Scott's wedding, and we had so much fun! Everything from the tiny pearls on Ann's dress to the most elaborate wedding cakes I have ever seen made the day so perfect and absolutely beautiful! It seemed like all of Statesboro was there celebrating with Ann & Scott, and everyone had such a great time dancing, sipping wine, and watching the glowing bride with her handsome groom. Thank you Ann & Scott (and Mr. Charlie & Mrs. Susan Mathews) for sharing your day with us! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Coleman!

Back to Reality...

Returning home from an exciting new place, there is always that refreshing feeling of truly coming "home", but at the same time, there is also the shock of coming back to reality (not to mention a different time zone!) This week, though, the shock has been a wonderful reminder of just how great my reality really is. Thanks to all of you, we have been busy this week photographing your beautiful families, and I am so thankful for these tiny glimpses into your lives! Hello from California!

I have been in San Francisco since Wednesday evening taking in all that the Bay has to offer and being inspired West Coast-style. Joy (with her beautiful baby girl Julia), Paula, Lindsay, Gena, and I are all professional photographers working in different parts of the country and have been planning this rendezvous in Paula's home city for months. The long-awaited trip is finally here, and I am having a blast catching up with great friends, seeing northern California for the first time, getting new ideas from other creative minds, and making work on the West Coast! (Thank you, Paula, you are simply the world's most wonderful host...)
