Even though most of our sessions are for people and pets, sometimes we get the opportunity for fun projects like this! This is the work of local jewelry maker, Talia Serinese. Sneak peek... Justine & Tim!

We enjoyed the unusually warm December weather with this cute couple out at Sweetheart Circle earlier this week! Justine and Tim came here together for college and have been captured by Statesboro's charms. Their wedding is planned for July 11, 2009. Congratulations Justine and Tim!

Christmas Card Mania!!

Whew!! What a crazy couple of weeks! Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have kept us even busier this year than last. Santa's little helpers (Kimberly, Kim and I) have been working overtime to ensure that every order will be delivered to you in time for Christmas. It is still not to late, we are taking orders through next week--even for Christmas cards. Sneak peek... Mister Jackson!

One of our sessions today was just too fun to even explain!!! Little Jackson smiled and laughed the entire time. This is our first time photographing him, and I am certainly looking forward to seeing him in the future!! Thank you to Mom (Jessica) for letting us spend some time with your perfect little angel. Sneak peek... Holly!

From a red tu-tu and her guitar in the studio to the Botanical Gardens with a sundress and boots, we had a blast today with this fabulous girl! High school senior Holly Porter truly is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Thank you Holly (and sister, Tiffany) for letting us be a part of this special time! Have a wonderful senior year!

Sneak peek... little Liza!

We had so much fun yesterday with this precious girl! Mom (Betsy) really had the special touch at making Liza smile, and she couldn't have been more perfect! It seems like just yesterday we photographed Betsy's pregnant belly, and Liza is already 3 years old! A special thanks to Mema (Beth) and Grandpa (Randy Nessmith) for sharing your beautiful yard with us!

Happy 1st Birthday Brody Fleming! We had so much fun with this handsome boy this morning at the Botanical Gardens... I can't believe he's already one year old! Thank you Mom (Stephanie) and Dad (Brent) for letting us watch him grow with you!

Sneak peek... the Smith family!

Yesterday afternoon we had so much fun with these sweet girls, Abby & Cecilia, at the Botanical Gardens. This is really my favorite time of year at the Botanical Gardens, and our session with the Smith family affirmed that once again! We love being able to see the Smiths every year and watch these girls grow so fast! Thank you Amy & Jeff for being a wonderful part of the KCP family!

We had so much fun yesterday with this handsome guy! From a stiff tux in the studio to letting loose with his 4-wheeler on a dirt road, Southeast Bulloch High School senior Slade Hall really was a trooper for the camera. Congratulations Laurie & Nick!!

This Saturday we were so privileged to be a part of such a beautiful wedding! Laurie was stunning and graceful, and Nick was so handsome... they were both so sweet & in love! We had so much fun being with all the girls as they helped Laurie get ready, seeing Laurie & Nick as they signed their vows to one another, and being with all of their family and friends as they celebrated with the new Mr. & Mrs. Achin! Thank you Laurie & Nick (and Mom, Jane, & Dad, Bill) for allowing us to share in this special time!

Another beautiful October wedding! We had so much fun with Carey & Jimmy earlier this month... they are so in love and the day couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you both (& Madison) for letting us be a part of such a special time!

We are just finishing with the Fall portrait special...it has been so fun seeing all of our favorite little ones in their Halloween costumes and fall clothing. We were so excited yesterday to meet this precious boy! Luke Aldred was welcomed into the world only two weeks ago by his proud parents (Anne Marie & Andy) and big brother (Drew). We had so much fun with this laid-back sleepy little man! Welcome to the KCP family!

The Fair is in town...

I can't believe it is already time again for pancakes, candy apples, and the ferris wheel... but it's really here! The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair starts today with the parade downtown and free admission at the fairgrounds tonight. Don't forget to stop by our booth on your way in this week! We hope to see you there!

Sneak peek...Miss Marley and Miss Emery!!

Today has been a busy one, thank goodness! But, before I leave for the day, I really wanted to share with you a sweet sweet pair of newborn twins that I met this afternoon. Emery and Marley are only one week old but they seem so wise already! Thank you Jenae (Exotic Tanning and Hair Salon), and Travis for coming in today and sharing your beautiful babies with us! Welcome to the KCP family!!

Welcome Baby Sloan!!!

After what seems like an eternity, Baby Sloan has arrived! It is hard to believe that our Samantha (who worked for KCP for over 2 years while in college), is a Mommy!! She and her husband Trent welcomed Sloan Alyssa Nesmith early Sunday morning. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 18 inches in length. Sloan is the perfect little angel, we cant wait to watch her grow!!

We started off our busy fall wedding season this weekend with two weddings! We drove all over Georgia (or at least the southeast...), spent Saturday on Jekyll Island and Sunday in Effingham County, and had so much fun celebrating with two of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen! Congratulations Matt & Jessica Deloach and Josh & Lindsay Proctor! Thank you for sharing this special time with us!
